**Invitation for Expression of Interest** Role: Sessional Counsellor/Therapist (Integrative and/or CBT) Location: Newry & Lurgan Contract Type: Associate (Self-Employed) Rate: £30.00 per session delivered (£10.00 per DNA session) Closing Date: 12 noon, Friday 31st October 2025 **About PIPS Hope and Support** PIPS Hope & Support is a leading mental health and suicide-prevention charity providing free, professional counselling and crisis intervention services across the Southern Health & Social Care Trust area. We exist to ensure that no one faces mental health distress or suicidal crisis alone, offering compassionate, timely, and person-centered care. **Role Summary** We are seeking experienced and professional Sessional Counsellors/ Therapists to deliver Integrative and/pr CBT counselling as part of our expanding therapeutic team. The role involves working with clients experiencing emotional distress, suicidal ideation, or suicide bereavement, helping them build resilience, recovery, and hope. **Key Responsibilities** - Deliver one-to-one counselling sessions (face-to-face-, online, or telephone). - Manage client caseloads and maintain accurate sessional and outcome records (CORE-NT). - Work within PIPS HS clinical governance and ethical frameworks. - Support early intervention, recovery, and wellbeing outcomes for clients. - Provide therapeutic support for individuals bereaved by suicide. - Participate in supervision and professional development as required. **Essential Criteria** - Qualified Counsellor or CBT Therapist. - Registered or working towards accreditation (BACP, BABCP, IACP, BPC< UKCP, or EMCC). - Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience and 150 supervised hours. - Recent Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults training (within last 2 years). - Evidence of ongoing CPD. - Access to transport and ability to work across the Trust area. - Professional Indemnity Insurance (£5m) and Public Liability Insurance (£10m) - Enhanced Access NI check required prior to commencement. **Benefits** - Be part of a respected local charity with a strong community impacet. - Flexible, person-centered working arrangements) - Supportive clinical supervision and CPD opportunities. **Additional Information** - Payment per session: £30.00 - DNA rate: £10.00 - Claim forms and session records required monthly. - Travel allowances are not included. - Associate Counsellors must not work alone on the premises. **How to Apply** Following the interviews a waiting list will be created for similar posts for a nine month period. **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: From £30.00 per day Work Location: In person
