The Company Overview:
This successful and growing business is looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk into their dynamic finance team. This team is headed by an excellent, well respected and engaging Finance Director who is very supportive of his team. This business is very profitableand has grown year on year since inception with exciting plans ahead.
Your Role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the purchase ledge, to log and process purchase ledger orders and invoices in line with Group procedures and to track and co-ordinate resolution of queries and disputes. In addition,you will identify and address any supplier disputes, to minimise trading disruption to the business from suppliers suspending or withdrawing credit account facilities, you will be responsible for the opening and maintenance of supplier accounts, includingperiodically reviewing supplier master data records, and you will also be responsible for supplier payment runs and cheque preparation, with reference to relevant supplier credit terms. Furthermore, you will deal with all accounts payable correspondence ina timely and professional manner, request and perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations (where applicable), liaising with suppliers for additional information as required, and assist with the monthly aged creditor reporting. Lastly, you will be responsiblefor intercompany reporting, assist with audit preparation and carrying out analysis as required, and supporting the truck administrator in regards the processing of purchase invoices.
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
To be considered, you must be possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. You will have high attention to detail skills, be organised and methodical. In addition, you will be capable of dealing with large volumes of invoices and be capable of workingunder pressure. Lastly, you will be able to learn quickly, pick up new systems with appropriate training and have good Excel skills.
