**Senior SQL Developer - Clothing Brand - 100% Remote**

**Freelance/Contract**

**Day rate: €300 - €500**

**Duration: 3 - 6 months**

**Start: ASAP**

My client is looking for a contractor to create and maintain SQL (Structured Query Language) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) based data pipelines and Databases in AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud hosting environment.

- The contractor is supposed to work independently on selected work packages according to its own expertise and skills within the Store Experience - Planning project.
- Services will be coordinated iteratively between the parties within the framework of sprint meetings (every three weeks) and implemented independently by the contractor within the sprints (3 weeks duration) following the sprint meetings. The Contractorwill check before each sprint meeting the scrum backlog, on the basis of its professional opinion/skills, which individual services it considers. Daily stand-ups 15 minutes every morning.
- The contractor will take the role of the developer.
The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently
performed by the external:

- Develop defined functions and features (user stories with exact definitions will be assigned in agile scrum process) in SQL and SSIS tools and technology for the Store Experience - Planning SQL ETL data pipeline.
- Take qualitative measures that developed import and export functions are working bug free according to defined development standards.
- During the assignment work on improving functionality and drive automation functions
- Identify opportunities to increase usability and functionality by bringing the functionality to the next technical & tools level
- Technical consultation in migrating Trade backend SQL ETL pipelines from one AWS account to another AWS account.
- Execute Unit testing for individual delivered code strings and execute end to end testing for Trade ETL pipelines. The testing is part of the agile scrum process. If an error occurs, the contractor needs to adjust the coding and start the testing againto check the functionality.
- The performance of the contractor has the goal: develop functionalities in SQL and SSIS technologies which support and automize the TRADE BLR ETL data pipeline to support the data load from global and local source systems into the user frontend environment(Aptos or Oracle solutions).
