Project Manager required for an immediate start

- 37.5 hours a week, Mon - Fri**

- Main responsibilities of the role:_
- Overseeing a variety of backlog projects from conception to completion ensuring mínimal disruption to staff and service users
- Understanding and implementing asset lifecycle programmes where necessary
- Projects will include a range of building refurbishments and complex building works
- Ensuring that all projects produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
- Obtaining quotes and putting together tenders for contractors and materials
- Developing and implementing plans for project delivery, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary to take any changes into account
- Responsible for day-to-day decisions relating to the management of the project including resources and skills required, implementation of project controls, making recommendations on changes to the specifications, budgets and schedules to the Project Sponsor
- Overseeing works carried out by contractors and ensuring works are being completed within the correct time schedule and budget
- Liaising regularly with stakeholders and attending progress meetings
- Essential requirements:_
- Experience working within a similar position previously, ideally within a healthcare/NHSorganisation
- Strong understanding and management of KPIs and SLAs
- Background and qualifications in construction or engineering is essential
