**Job profile summary**
You will lead a website content management team ensuring the evolution of our European public facing websites. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders you will contribute to the planning, build, optimisation and ongoing development of our websites to support our marketing, wider business and user experience goals.
**Core responsibilites**
- Managing a small team of web content editors across business as usual (BAU) and project change.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing website features or develop new ones and agree prioritisation with the Attract Product Owner.
- Responsible for maintaining the content displayed across our European Business to Business and Direct to Consumer websites, and prioritising competing requirements as appropriate.
- Manage the build and implementation of web pages and landing pages, incorporating imagery, video, forms, and any other content requirements ensuring accuracy and optimal user experience is at the core.
- Collaborate with the European channel marketing teams, digital marketing team, production team and editorial team to ensure the effective delivery of the website elements of projects, campaigns and other marketing and business initiatives.
- Work with external vendors to identify, remedy and optimise all website content for Search Engine Optimisiation (SEO).
- Manage the testing of Adobe Analytics code across our websites.
- Ensure that quality assurance testing is undertaken against all new content, landing pages and websites and any identified quality assurance issues are resolved.
- Identify and assess opportunities to enhance website user experience and associated journeys.
- Ensure that all websites are built and maintained in line with brand guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/BAU initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Undertake website competitor analysis to ensure that the Vanguard offering remains at the forefront.
- Where appropriate, write up requirements to remedy bugs identified on the websites and work with the Attract Product Owner to prioritise accordingly.
- Access analytics tool to generate reports which help support a proposed enhancement or opportunity or as requested by channel marketing.
- For large scale projects involving content management, participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute as required.
- Manage and update content-related tags i.e. for article style content as well as conversion and lead scoring tags across all websites.
- Create and manage content snippets to support personalisation and A/B testing initiatives across all websites.
- Work closely with accessibility quality assurance (QA) specialist to remedy any content related issues
- Uses tools to proactively identify opportunities to optimise or remedy search and accessibility-related issues i.e. broken links, missing alt tags
- Stay up-to-date on online and mobile asset management trends and, if applicable, recommend ways to keep up with trends
- Managing and evolve the website style guide
- Maintain website editorial guidelines
**Skills**
- People management skills
- Good knowledge of HTML and experience using popular enterprise level content management systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager)
- Deep understanding of SEO
- Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
- Website analytics and tagging experience (Adobe Analytics)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong sense of ownership
- Relationship management
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Agile project management
- Experience using collaboration tools, preferably Jira and Confluence
- Basic understanding of website accessibility
- Experience using SEO and website QA tools, preferably BrightEdge and Siteimprove
**Qualifications**
- Related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.
