Consider joining the ECI Group project controls team in our Manchester office as a **_Project Controls Specialist_** **to be responsible for project scheduling matters for assigned projects.**_ _**In this position you will execute tasks related to schedule and progress updates, including engagement with leads and analysis of gathered input for all assigned projects.**

**Your Role With The Company**
- Development of project schedule, progress, and work breakdown structure
- Establishing sound schedule logic, durations, and constraints to facilitate successful project execution
- Participate in interactive planning sessions in the schedule development stage
- Establishing baseline schedule to serve as the basis for all project execution
- Identify trends and root causes of deviations against the baseline using lead and lag indicators, effectively reporting any remedial actions in order to drive best value for the client / contract requirements
- Identifying restraints and their effect on the project schedule
- Identifying schedule considerations and challenges resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces
- Schedule and progress planning and continuously monitoring the project performance, as well close coordination with lead engineers of all disciplines and with procurement
- Communication and cooperation with project management as well as with technical and commercial departments, partners, and clients
- Project reporting to management and/or clients on the project
- Participate, when requested, development and review of schedule recovery plans, including the evaluation of additional resources/costs required for recovery

**Background Profile**:

- ** 2-5+ Years experience in project controls discipline at an engineering focused company.**:

- Should have experience and knowledge of relevant key engineering topics required to operate in an EPC environment
- Experience with Oracle Primavera scheduling software
- Skills in Microsoft office (some advanced Microsoft Excel functions)
- Overall concept on project cost control process is preferable
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
