**Ledger Team Senior**

**Location - Selby, Ipswich (Hybrid)**

Drax have a new opportunity for a Ledger Team Senior to support and supervise the Ledger Team.

**About the role**

You’ll oversee the Ledger Team activities and relevant processes which cover all invoice activities. Responsible for ensuring all month end reporting is completed on time to a high quality. Responsible for developing and maintaining training programmes for the Ledger Team.
Delivering a continuous programme of process improvement across all areas of Ledger Team responsibility.
Promoting GDPR awareness across the Ledger Team and driving towards the commitment to Prompt Payment Code. Ensure all processes are up to date and comply with legislation and internal policies. Accountable for line management, coaching and development and HR matters for Ledger Assistants

**About you**

You’ll be somebody who is confident suggesting and implementing new ways of working, improving efficiencies within our existing systems and will feel empowered to investigate solutions that will align with control and audit requirements.
You’ll have supervisory experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable as well as a proven background of leading successful teams and supporting the development of staff giving you an excellent foundation for this role. You’ll have a collaborative working style, be energised to deliver a great service and be able to motivate and inspire yourself and your team.
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
