Accelerate your career with a rewarding job at a dynamic, high-spec facility based inThornaby. **Duties will include**: - Ensuring all safe systems of work and standard operating procedures are always adhered to in Health & Safety, Production and Quality, as set out by the company - Complete all related paperwork and input data accurately - Assist the operator in carrying out maintenance and ensure the machines are kept in a good mechanical working order, reporting any issues to management - Ensure the housekeeping of the machine and working area, is maintained, in line with the company standard - Identify areas of improvements and work in a proactive manner **Required skills and experience**: - No qualifications required but previous experience in manufacturing would be advantageous. However, whilst previous experience is an advantage, an attitude to learn is more important - Positive "can do" attitude, and flexible to work on a variety of different sections within the department when required - The ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail is key - Working well with others in a small team is a regular part of the role - Patience and the ability to work well during busy production periods - The ability to accept direction and work without constant supervision - Physical skills like movement, coordination and dexterity - Excellent verbal communication skills **Shifts**: Days - Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 1:35pm | Friday 6:00am - 1:05pm Lates - Monday to Thursday 1:30pm - 9:05pm | Friday 1:00pm - 7:55pm Nights Monday to Thursday 9:00pm - 6:05am **Payrates**: - £9.59ph To stay safe in your job search we recommend that you visit SAFERjobs, a non-profit, joint industry and law enforcement organisation working to combat job scams.
