Acquired by EA in 2021, Playdemic is home to the top 10 grossing, BAFTA winning mobile smash - Golf Clash. Having opened at the beginning of 2020, our award-winning, bespoke studio space offers conventional desk space as well as indulgent breakout areas, meeting rooms and alternative workspaces. The office has been designed to create an environment that encourages and allows our team to do their very best work.

We're looking for a Junior Animator to join an experienced team of artists and animators working on Golf Clash to help build our Season Pass content. It is a diverse role which will see you challenged creatively in both 2D and 3D Animation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high quality animations in Autodesk Maya.
- Work with the Art and Animation lead to help execute their vision.
- Help create short frame storyboards with 2D sketches to depict narrative and motion.
- Ensure the animation quality and style is maintained.
- Manage own animation assets from Maya to game engine and verify functionality in game.
- Ability to work within 2D animation software such as Spine.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of 3D animation in Maya.
- Strong understanding of 2D Animation, with a willingness to learn Spine.
- Ability to create streamlined, high-quality animation assets for use in mobile gaming.
- Understanding of anatomy, movement, weight, timing and character appeal.
- Experience with Unity, Unreal or any other in-game animation state machine systems.
- Animation production experience, with mobile development experience a big plus.
