**Job Title: Planner / Supply Chain Administrator**
**Contract: Full Time, Permanent**
**Location: North Leicester, Leicestershire, LE67**
**Salary: £22,000 - £25,000**
**Start Date: ASAP - Happy to Work Around Notice Periods**
The commercial division of SF recruitment are currently recruiting for an experience Planner OR Supply Chain Administrator to join their well-established UK based client on a full time, permanent basis.
Within this role you will be working closely alongside the Procurement Manager and the Import Manager to support with the smooth daily operations across the distribution centre. Your responsibilities could include any of the below:
- Raising and processing purchase orders with suppliers
- Ensure that all confirmed deliveries arrive on time, and the correct number of units are received
- Raising any issues regarding missing or damaged goods, delayed deliveries and ensure that these are resolved efficiently
- Carrying out regular stock checks to ensure the right stock levels are maintained, and in demand products are available at all times
- Completing weekly forecast reports to share across with the management team and suppliers to ensure an accurate forecast is available
- Seeking new opportunities to save on budget costs with suppliers, hauliers etc
- Maintaining an accurate internal database with delivery and invoice status, and all customer/supplier records
- Building strong business relationships internally at all levels, as well as externally with clients, suppliers and stakeholders
The successful Supply Chain Administrator / Planner will ideally have experience within a similar role as listed above, however, my client is looking for somebody to have strong organisational and adaptability skills. It is important that you can remain calm when working under pressure, as sometimes the department can get busy and demanding in peak times. Excellent communication skills is essential, as you will be working closely alongside a wide internal and external team.
Additional desirable skills and experiences:
- IT Literate - Confident using Microsoft Packages, and pick up internal CRM's easily
- An understanding of Supply Chain Processes and Procedures
- Ability to work to tight deadlines within a team focussed environment
- Strong analytical skills
