**The School**

We are looking for colleagues to join us whose expertise aligns with the School’s priority areas and who can make a significant contribution to our teaching and knowledge exchange activities. Members of the School are expected to play an active role in teaching that will include engaging with UWL's blended learning platform and developing content and learning material for it, and delivering workshops, seminars, lectures, and laboratory practicals. Members within the School are research active within areas that include translational medicine, cancer biology, antibiotics resistance, microbial genomics, bioinformatics, and dementia. We are seeking a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer with teaching expertise in Microbiology.

Applicants must hold or be close to completing a PhD in a relevant field with a demonstrable track record of research within the field.

A Standard/Enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this post (to be undertaken upon appointment).
