**Job overview**:
To ensure financial information is processed in accordance with established procedures, in order to provide monthly reports, through completion of own work and through liaison with other colleagues within the Team & the NCA.
The post holder will be required to communicate with colleagues, managers and staff within the NCA and externally with other NHS organisations.
To investigate complex financial enquiries, providing assistance and advice as required.
Responsible for producing relevant, timely and accurate reports to budget holders, including identifying trends, the reasons for variances from forecasted income & expenditure and providing reliable predictions for the year.
To support the development of REACHE NW finance reporting and its operational work streams and undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required.
**Main duties of the job**:
**Manual Payments / Fast Payments**
Completion of claim forms for processing for all Members travel claims and payments, etc. and follow up requests.
Provide a reconciliation of payments made.
**New Suppliers / New Members**
Complete New Supplier forms for staff members / New REACHE Members and any new provider of equipment
Gather bank details for new REACHE Members to enable the above
**Invoices - PO Process**
Request PO Number
Receive and receipt the PO numbers and share with supplier
Record and reconcile the above monthly
Monitor and follow up any payment queries
**Endowment Budget**
Receive, receipt and process donations into the REACHE NW Endowment budget
**Clawbacks**
Oversee any payments made in advance to Members’ and determine the timeline for re-payment with the Member. Enable an invoice to recover the cost.
**Petty Cash**
Provide for regular requests for petty cash payments
Oversee the allocation of the petty cash budget and ensure it is replenished and accounted for with cash office
Reconcile payments and ensure all recorded
**Budget Meetings**
Attend regular budget meetings and raise / escalate any finance issues accordingly
Work with the Operations Manager and the Finance Department to receive and oversee monthly budgets and ensure that all income is recorded and monitor spend / allocation
Provide monthly position statement for REACHE NW
**Working for our organisation**:
REACHE NW, established 20 years ago, has delivered Occupational English education and PLAB success for overseas qualified Refugee, Asylum Seeker, Evacuee Doctors, Nurses and allied health professionals and placed them into NHS jobs. Over 600 doctors and AHPs have passed through our programme. We are seeking clinicians who can demonstrate experience of teaching and training doctors or medical students. The role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic tutor at REACHE, where we have excellent staff retention and have not had a clinical tutor job opening for many years. You will work with administrative support, English tutors Pastoral support lead, volunteers and other clinicians in delivering this programme.

- Membership of AAT/significant progress in professional accountancy qualifications or equivalent experience at that level.

- Specialist knowledge of accounting procedures, NHS Financial policies and legislation
**Desirable criteria**:
- Experience in management accountancy.
