**More About the Role**

We are looking for a security guard to join our team to contribute towards the overall security of the Bowland view site, controlling site access, directing visitors and deliveries to the correct locations and ensuring staff and visitors adhere to current government guidelines for social distancing.

**Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing**
- Maintaining the safety, security and operational standards of the external areas of our depot.
- Ensuring site security is maintained by controlling access to pass holders, deliveries and valid visitors.
- Monitoring CCTV, the intruder alarm, fire alarms and the building management system.
- Working alongside a team of security guards based over different areas of the site, ensuring accurate and up to date communication of any issues.
- Reporting incidents in compliance with security procedures.
- Completing incident logs and reports accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
- Greeting and directing all visitors to reception.
- Building and maintaining productive working relations with staff and visitors.
- Ensuring compliance with current control measures in place to minimise the risk of Covid-19, including temperature checks, hand sanitising and social distancing.
- Challenging and reporting any non-compliance of Covid-19 control measures.
