**Java Software Engineer - Java, Windows, Agile, Spring, configuration, Linux, Unix, £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience ) + benefits, Somerset (some remote working in place)**
**One of the UK's most prominent defence organisations who operate on a global scale have created an opportunity not to be missed for a Java Software Engineer. The company revenues exceed the Billions mark plus they are literally designing the most sophisticatedsoftware within the defence space.**
This is not your everyday Java position and a far cry from your standard software house.
We would welcome the opportunity to speak with talented Java Software Engineers / Developers who are looking to take the next step in their career. An experienced Java Software Engineer involved with the full cycle starting from initial design through to implementation.Strong understanding of software architecture alongside testing and debugging. Working on complex requirements and technical designs. Other technologies that would be keen to see competent experience with include unit testing, JavaScript, Swing, Agile, Scrum,Linux, Unix, Windows, network configuration, control monitoring and network management.
A natural problem solver analytically minded and enjoy sharing ideas with a team and not just coding away in the corner.
It is essential that you can undergo security clearance - please consider this before applying.
Please note this is not a fully remote position but certain flexibility can be offered.
