**Job Summary**

**Brighton College is seeking to appoint a part-time HR Administrative Assistant, to join our small and friendly HR team based in Brighton, East Sussex. The varied role will provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the HR department.**

The role will involve carrying out a range of routine administrative duties to support the HR and recruitment team. These will include:

- Administration of the College benefits platform, Perkbox.
- Preparing maternity, paternity and leaver letters.
- Updating the termly photobook.
- Sending out reference requests.
- Carrying out ID reviews.
- Carrying out Right to Work (Home Office) checks.
- Providing generalist HR support, as required.

**Hours of work**:

- The role is 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, all year round.
- The hours are flexible, with a start time of between 08:30-10:00, to be agreed during the interview.

**Holiday**:

- 20 days (rising to 25 after 2 years' service) pro rata, in addition to bank holidays.

**Safeguarding responsibilities**:

- This role will involve daily contact with pupils, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
- All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
