**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant under the general supervision of the Registered Home Manager, to attend to the personal needs of clients in accordance with individual care plans. These duties will include physical and emotional caring, aiming at creating a supportive homely atmosphere where clients can achieve maximum independence.
In addition, to maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the Home.
**Duties**:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meals
- Follow care plans to provide individualized care to residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting
- Support residents with home care needs
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed
**Experience**:
- NVQ 2/ QCF diploma level 2 in Health and Social Care. - Essential
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Previous experience working within a care environment - Essential
- An understanding and respect for elderly people with varying dependency levels.
- Good communication skills both written and oral also an ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage.
- Must be able to work days and nights with a flexible approach in times of need within the Home.
- A full clean driving licence desirable - not essential.
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Pay: £11.98-£15.17 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
