The Finance Assistant role:

- You will be reporting to the Revenue Manager in a key role to assist the management of the business processes.
- Collaborating with various teams in the business, including finance revenue and credit control, secretaries, lawyers, and other business services teams.
- Bill dispatching duties.
- Generating reports from various systems.
- Updating key stakeholders on the progress.
- Production of monthly bill dispatch metrics / performance.
- Deal with routine queries related to month end billing.
- Raise bills / credit notes.
- Submit Accruals.
- Produce reports for the revenue controller from meetings.
- Provide E-billing support which includes bill submission, query resolution, exception reporting, payment status updates, and pro-active review of narrative & guideline compliance.
- Exception reporting maintenance, consisting of reviewing ledgers for inconsistencies and query with the relevant team, and standard rates being applied on insurance/ established clients.
- Provide administration for Entity Managers, Rules and Alert Managers.
- Handling key accounts and SLA billing compliance which includes, summarising main billing requirements, monitor advance compliance with pro-active reviews of timelines to guidelines and provide feedback to lawyers and secretaries to correct entries, andsupport revenue controllers with key clients.
- Assisting with monthly review of cancelled bills to collate feedback and learning loop.
- Undertake adhoc responsibilities.
The ideal Finance Assistant:

- Experience in financial services role, in a professional services environment or finance and billing experience.
- Some experience with legal billing and prebills
- Microsoft excel proficient, including vlookups & formulas
- Confident manner with people at varying levels
- Pro-active and flexible
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your own initiative
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High PC literacy with strong systems skills.
