AMADEUS CATERING AT THE NEC

RETAIL TEAM LEADER - CATERING MOBILE TEAM

PERMANENT 2080 HOURS ANNUALISED CONTRACT £25.4K

To supervise the logistics set up, storage and movement of mobile catering equipment across the 20 interconnected NEC halls in a hands on position

You will manage a small team and report to the Logistics Catering Manager of the Mobile Catering team

Proactively manage variable resources/costs in controlling Food & Beverage stocks, personnel and equipment and take appropriate action to changes in the business

To ensure you, and those others working within your areas of responsibility do so in accordance with current, applicable health & safety / fire safety legislation and group health & safety policies, procedures and arrangements.

To implement and manage those group health & safety / fire safety policies, procedures and arrangements as applicable to your work activities and working environment

Ensure staff comply with all NEC site and Amadeus catering procedures

Meets required level of customer care and ensure all team members comply

Train, develop and motivate staff to operate in new catering environments

Effectively manages resources as provided within the catering area to ensure that skills are used and developed appropriately on a day to day basis.

Able to supervise up to 10 staff and manage the planning and set up of each show to the catering forecast

Able to team lead at least four different catering styles of outlet e.g. Table service restaurant, Edge catering concepts, Hospitality areas, café/bars and large self service restaurants.
