About the role

A typical role will involve;
- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
- Personal care
- Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
- Supporting with medication
- Supporting and encouraging people to find opportunities in education, employment and leisure, and enable them to take part in these opportunities

We are expanding our current teams within the Redcar and Cleveland area, and are looking to recruit a fantastic new Support Worker.

You will be lone working in the community providing outreach support on a 1-1 basis to 5 independent gentleman who all live in their own homes across Redcar & Cleveland at 4 different locations. You will be working with each gentleman providing support to maintain social connections and activities in the community, as well as supporting them to maintain their home and the environment. The gentleman enjoy watching the football at home and at the local club with a beer, swimming, walking the dog, going away on holiday, day trips out, archery, local discos, walking, shopping, crafts, cooking and trying out new things.

Shift times can vary from anything in between 08:00 and 23:00, and some personal care is required.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
