**About The Role** To grow new sales within the UK POS Position Overview: SME sales (300k - $3.5m) Responsibilities: Develop new sales for SME segment. outbound sales Competencies: Prospecting, database management + growing sales territory Experience and Qualification: Previous sales experience essential Relocation (Y/N): N As a Field Sales - SME, you are in essence, a Corporate Sales Manager, responsible for establishing relationships, and securing a Corporate Client base with annual Gross Booking volumes of $3.5M or less that will utilize Egencia, an an American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) Company, for all of their travel needs. The position is designed to quickly increase Egencia’ s market share in the Corporate space by cold calling prospective accounts, negotiating and closing corporate agreements, demonstrating Egencia’ s superior technology and traditional travel distribution channel. **Who You Are**: - You have 2+ years of experience in sales - You have strong social, relationship building and team building skills - Ability to communicate technical product features effectively - You have knowledge and/or passion for the travel industry - Prior experience selling software packages or technical services to the small sized business market (preferred) **What You’ll Do**: - You will sell new corporate accounts on the value proposition of the Egencia suite of products and services - You will communicate the value of "on-line booking" to these clients in an effort to enhance greater adoption of the online booking tool, and generate incremental revenue for Amex GBT - You will meet and exceed annual quota's for Egencia bookings - You will deploy prospecting strategies to gain new Egencia customers - You will respond to leads generated from Egencia's concentrated marketing efforts and personally develop self - generated prospects to maintain an active pipeline - You will maintain an updated sales pipeline through automated sales management tools as provided by Egencia - You will collaborate with Marketing, Business Development and IT to ensure product differentiation is maintained - You will cross sell opportunities in collaboration with Amex GBT products and services - You will actively tele market, answer inquiries and resolve problems, and assess **Location**: London, remote **Location** United Kingdom - London It is our policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on job-related qualifications and ability to perform a job, without regard to age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, creed, national origin, disability, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship or marital status, and to maintain a non-discriminatory environment free from intimidation, harassment or bias based upon these grounds.
