An exciting opportunity for an experienced MSK physio is available in Gillingham, Kent.
Our client is a successful and newly expanded independent therapy practice. Situated close to the entrance of a busy shopping centre with easy access and ample free parking the centre offers a wide spectrum of therapy services and retains diagnostic imagingreferring rights.
Due to an increasing caseload, the centre is searching for an experience part time or full time MSK physio to work within the MDT including Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Podiatrists, Chiropodists, Sports & Rehab Therapists, Massage Therapists, Nutritionist& a Mindfulness - Well-being Therapist). In addition the clinic provides consultation clinics with integrated Fetal medicine, orthopaedic & Rheumatology Consultants.

Role: Band 7 physiotherapist
Caseload: MSK / Orthopaedic & Sports clinical caseload
Days: Up to 5 days per week
Hours: 17.5-37.5 hours per week available
**Salary**: £40k-£45k per year, dependent on experience (for full time)
Location: Gillingham, ME7
**Responsibilities**:
- Effective, independent management of MSK / Orthopaedic & Sports clinical caseload.
- Pro-active caseload management within an inter-referring MDT.
- All standards of practice as detailed within CSP / HCPC standards of practice.
- To provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to patients including advanced and specialised work with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic & sports injury conditions.
- Use clinical reasoning skills to provide specialist support and advice to the physiotherapy team and other centre staff, whilst maintaining a clinical caseload of patients.
- To provide a positive caring environment, in which patients can expect a high quality, professional service.
- To participate in the department’s ongoing audit and appropriate work-related research/ evaluation projects in areas relevant to the clinical field.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- BSc Physiotherapy
- U.K HCPC registration & CSP membership
- Minimum of 3 years Post-graduate experience & evidence of CPD
Desirable (non-essential) Attributes
- Completed or initiating MSc Physiotherapy (any speciality)
- Acupuncture / Dry Needling Qualification(s)
- NHS employment experience
- ESWT Certification
