Year 2 1-1 Teaching Assistant (ASD and ADHD) - Handsworth Wood Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a strong background of work with children with additional needs? I am currently recruiting for a primary school rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham that are seeking to appoint an experienced TA for their school. For this role you will be involved in supporting a child with ASD and ADHD to achieve his learning and development target, there is mild behavioural needs but nothing aggressive, just general disruption and distraction. You will provide 1-1 intervention anddevelop a positive rapport with the child to help take them through their education The schools aim is to make their children feel safe and happy to let their own light shine out and spread kindness, for all members of the school community to be able to access all opportunities and build aspirations for a bright future, for differences andsimilarities are respected, valued and that we work together as one big family and to provide an education that inspires and enriches the lives of our children. Stephanie has been working with this school for many years and has had lots of positive feedback from staff who have worked here previously.
