Are you analytical and enjoy working closely with stakeholders across multiple disciplines? We are looking for a Category Assistant to join our Store Support Centre. The role offers variety with no two days being the same. Some days you might be running reports, others you might be supporting range review or even supporting stores with specific queries.
The role itself offers great progression prospects for somebody analytical that has an interest in developing a career in the optical space. Based at our Store Support Centre in Ruddington, you will work closely with the Assistant Category Manager and the Category Manager to deliver amazing cross functional support to the business.
**What can you expect from the role?**
At Vision Express we win together, so all our colleagues have a role to play in making our customers feel special. As a category assistant you will play a pivotal part in supporting store development plans whilst keeping an eye on sales split by product. You will play a key role in supporting stores in understanding new lens mats empowering them to maximise conversion rates through shared knowledge.

**About you**
Previous experience in an optical focused environment would be beneficial, however is not specifically needed for this role as training will be provided. But, to be successful in the role, a degree of experience in reporting and data analysis would be beneficial. The role can be fast paced which is exciting.
