**The Opportunity**:
Prospective researchers should have great communication, organization and technical skills and be able to disseminate results in scientific journals and international conferences. They will report to CEF director, Prof Prodromakis, and will be in ongoing engagement with fellow researchers and technical staff.

This is a **fixed term position for up to two (2) years **.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- A 1 st class undergraduate degree and a PhD in Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, or a closely related area.
- Experience with cleanroom processing, specifically in PVD/CVD processes (eg. sputtering, PEALD, CVD) and lithography equipment.
- Record of delivering objectives/milestones in research projects related to developing and characterising thin film structures and devices
- Good oral and communication skills and a proven ability to disseminate results in scientific publication
