Job opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join our setting in Pembroke Dock. We are looking for people who are playful and enthusiatic, who understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment for our children and families. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to support the development and well-being of each child.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children to learn and play.
- Support children’s emotional and social development through positive interactions and guidance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education.
- Manage daily routines, including meals, nap times, and play sessions.
- Drive to various locations as required for outings or wrap around.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.

**Qualifications**:

- Level 3 childcare qualification is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 16 per week

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
