**Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a leading, Legal 500 Commercial Property Department based in Cambridge.**

The Firm

Our client is a highly regarded practice who upholds a fantastic reputation in Cambridgeshire.

The firm's Commercial Property team have established themselves as leading advisors in the area and as result of their growing workload, are seeking a Senior Associate to join their close-knit team.

The Opportunity

The new hire will be pivotal in the growth of the firm's commercial property offering in Cambridge.

The role would suit a passionate Solicitor looking to be part of a specialist team and work alongside some leading, L500 recognised individuals who are experts in their field.
- Preparing all variations of leases (including extensions, renewals and surrenders) along with generally advising on landlord and tenant issues
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of land/property as well as providing general planning advice
- Advising on refinancing (including loan facility arrangements for private lenders) and sales and leasebacks of commercial property
- Working with the renewable energy team to assist with large scale solar schemes, wind farms and more
- Advising partners and board members on opportunities to add value to the client experience and improve profitability for the team
- Supervising junior Solicitors and members of the team, with the aim of maximising the teams overall contribution and performance
- Leading on business development and marketing initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Experience commensurate to that of 6 years' + PQE
- Can demonstrate expert status, specialist knowledge and experience necessary for the role
- Experience of negotiating, facilitating and influencing others to achieve desired outcomes
- Can demonstrate strong commercial awareness and acumen
