Estimator - Facades

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately take off quantities from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates
- Source and negotiate prices with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project costs.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers to discuss project requirements and resolve any queries.
- Assist with the preparation of tender documents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience as a facades Estimator
- Strong understanding of curtain wall and cladding systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Excellent reading and interpretation of architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in the use of estimating software (e.g., [List software used]).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent negotiation and procurement skills.
