**The job itself**:
The Supported Housing Team is based in Beverley and works across the East Riding area with vulnerable adults who have a learning disability, to support independence and self -advocacy.

We work with people in their own homes, or in shared ISL accommodation. This role will have responsibility for service provision across Beverley and Bridlington areas working alongside the other Senior Care Officer within the team.

We are looking for a suitable person to join the team in a full time role, working across seven days as required to meet service needs. The successful applicant will have management responsibility for deployment of staff, and a lead role in the organisation, co-ordination, and quality monitoring of service delivery, including training and development, and health and safety. There may be a requirement to deputise for the registered manager at times.

You must be able to offer good organisational and time management skills and be confident in your ability to lead staff. You must have a good values base and be able to work within relevant legislation and policy and procedure - you will also have an awareness of the requirements of the Care Quality Commission and current legislation. You must be able to work in collaboration with other agencies, be able to use IT systems, and corporate systems within your role, including an understanding of budget management. You will be able to embrace and manage change with positivity, and work to deadlines.

You must be able to offer person-centred and flexible approaches to people and be able to work on your own initiative, and also as part of a management team in order to meet customer and carer needs. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have awareness of Confidentiality and Data Protection guidelines.

NVQ/ QCF level 3 / 4 or equivalent is desirable alongside a willingness to undertake training commensurate to the post.

Duties will be worked over a rota pattern, including alternate weekends/bank holiday cover as required for which enhancements will be paid for working.

A clean driving licence and own transport are essential for the role, a mileage allowance is payable
