An amazing opportunity for an **experienced SEN** teacher or tutor to work in an innovative and inclusive specialist provision for young people aged **16-25** with **learning difficulties** and/or **complex** needs. The needs of the school are predominantly **Autistic Spectrum Condition** with some **behavioural management **involved in the role.

The successful applicant will have a passion for SEN and have a previous experience of delivering lessons to young adults. Teaching a range of transferable skills in skills for independence and their specialist area to increase independence for learners (aged 16 +) with ASC (entry level up to Level 1)

Other duties include:

- Effectively plan teaching learning and assessment, target setting, recording and evaluation of educational programmes
- Ensure that student learning experiences are organised in a progression which supports the development of each individual
- Promoting the well-being of young people and staff and develop good relationships with all learners and parents

To be considered for the role you must possess a recognised teaching qualification and Level 3 or above in Mathematics or English and experience working within a multisensory setting. Having computer skills and appropriate IT skills is also desirable, or be willing to learn.
