**HOMEBASED VEHICLE DAMAGE ASSESSOR (VDA)** Are you an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor or Motor Engineer but fancy a change of working environment? As a member of our Homebased VDA Team, you will still be expected to carry out all standard VDA duties but without the daily commute. This will include assessment creation using images and information provided by a customer or by one of our branches, also end of repair assessment review. From time to time you may be asked to support branches remotely or occasionally by attending at a branch. **CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Reviewing repair assessments prior to submitting for final authority, - You will be checking for accuracy of repair methodology, charge-out, assessment justification and presentation. - Assessment creation using images and information provided by a customer or by one of our branches. - Have and maintain an excellent working knowledge of Audatex. - Have and maintain an excellent working knowledge of E-Scribe. - Develop and or maintain an excellent knowledge and understanding of all insurer/customer contracts. - Hold and display strong communication skills. - This will include speaking with customers and insurers professionally, effectively, and efficiently, also entering accurate records of actions taken and or communications made on the Company’ management system. - Provide support, guidance, and feedback to branch VDA’s for continued development and improvement. - Pro-active in identifying areas of improvement for the Company and or its processes. **ABOUT YOU**: - Must have current or very recent Bodyshop VDA/ Engineer experience - Have an excellent working knowledge of Audatex (with current or recent accreditation) - A good working knowledge of GT Motive and or Inter-Est would also be an advantage. - Have an excellent working knowledge of E-Scribe. - Current ATA accreditation an advantage - Able to work unsupervised as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. - Have great organizational skills and be effective with time management. - Be flexible and adaptable to change. **BENEFITS**: - Homebased position - No more time spent commuting and associated commute costs. - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Mon > Fri Working - Very occasional Sat am working - Internal and external training provided and upkeep of necessary accreditations. - Pension scheme and death in service insurance - Enhanced maternity and paternity pay - Perkbox - Access to hundreds of exclusive discounts and rewards - MediCash - Free healthcare scheme - Childcare vouchers or workplace nursery benefit **Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Childcare - Company pension - Employee discount - Gym membership - Private dental insurance - Private medical insurance - Referral programme - Sick pay - Store discounts - Wellness programmes Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - vehicle damage assessing: 1 year (required)
