We are looking for enthusiastic and resilient individuals to join our school in Crawley as a **SEND Teaching Assistant**. This is an incredible opportunity to support students with Autism, fostering their educational development and helping them navigate any challenging behaviours.

**About the Role**:

- **Position**:SEND Teaching Assistant
- **Working Hours**:8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
- **Salary**:£97 - £99 per day
- **Start Date**:ASAP
- **Location**:Just outside of Burgess Hill, drivers preferred but not essential

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with our experienced teaching team to:

- Provide tailored educational support to secondary-aged students with Autism.
- Encourage and facilitate engagement in lessons and school activities.
- Support students in managing their emotions and behaviour using established strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide holistic care and education.

**What We’re Looking For**:
We’re seeking individuals with the following qualities and experience:

- **Personal or professional experience**with Autism, whether through work, volunteering, or supporting family members.
- Enthusiasm for working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting.
- A proactive, active, and hands-on approach to learning support.
- Empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to adapt to the diverse emotional and behavioural needs of students.
- Interest or studies in psychology, education, or related fields (advantageous but not essential).

To be successful in this role, you must:

- Be eligible to work in the UK or hold a relevant work visa.
