We have an exciting opportunity available for a Team Leader to join our Westmorland Kitchen Team, based at The Rheged Centre in Penrith. You will be responsible for supporting the Department Manager and your colleagues to produce our famous Westmorland sausage roll and savoury pies which are produced for our motorway service areas at Tebay, Gloucester and Cairn Lodge.

As a Service Leader you will be responsible for leading shifts in your unit to ensure the team is delivering the best service to our customers and ensuring Food Safety standards are in place at all times
- Reports directly to their Department Manager.
- To be a hands on member of the team to help achieve production targets.
- To support the manager in every aspect of their role.
- In the managers absence, to take charge of the department, ensuring the highest standards are maintained and improved on.
- To attend the planning meetings in the managers absence.
- Support the training of new colleagues through their 12 weeks induction Journey as well as existing colleagues ensuring that they are 100% trained both on the job and following the pathways on My Westmorland Learn and are regularly logging onto the system so that they are informed about what is going on in the business (at least once a week)
