The team is responsible for sourcing contracts below the Public Contract Regulations threshold for various South-East Councils. The range of contracts you will be sourcing are extremely varied. You might be buying vehicles one week, then tree planting and library furniture the next. By obtaining quotes through a competitive tendering process, we aim to get the best quality goods and services at the right price. We advertise locally and nationally, so opportunities are open for local businesses and this also ensures best value for residents.

Procurement experience is not required as full training will be given but buying experience, Customer facing roles or other back office experience is helpful. Previous team members have gained valuable experience in the Sourcing Solutions Team,
