Our client is looking for an ambitious and client focused individual who is looking for an opportunity to train and build a long-term career with underwriting.
You will join the the cargo, freight and stock throughput underwriting team and benefit from learning from experienced professionals.
A full program of technical training and support to develop knowledge in these classes will be provided, so our client is willing and able to consider applicants with 12 months + experience from any underwriting or broking background.
The prerequisite is that you are keen to train and up-skill, are looking to build a long-term career, are willing to accept ownership and responsibility and have an aptitude for developing client relationships.
In this role you will undertake end-to-end handling of cases, working with broker partners and directly with customers to understand risk profiles and then underwrite within your designated authority.
