**The Company**
A growing manufacturing organisation based in Sunderland is seeking a Payroll Co-ordinator to support the Payroll Manager in a newly created role.
**The Role**:

- Collation and submission of payroll data to outsourced payroll
- Processing for new hires, terminations, and special payments associated with any severance or other payments.
- Support payroll system and process changes as required
- Respond to general payroll queries
- Maintain good business relationships with outsourced payroll provider
- Maintain good internal working relationships with Finance, HR and wider business partners
- Deal with ad hoc request such as severance, data gathering, analysis and other specific departmental requests as they arise
- Identify any opportunities for process improvement

**The Person**:

- Demonstrable experience and ability to deliver high quality Payroll administration service
- Ability to work with Payroll Manager to implement changes to systems, processes and documentation
- Experience working with large database software programs performing data entry or processing standardized forms
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to communicate at all levels.
- Proactive approach with an eye for process improvement
- Motivated and willing to develop as the role evolves
