Job Role

Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join as a new role within the Tech team based at their busy HQ in Alderley Edge.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services.
- Pro-actively managing capacity within your team(s)
- Making sure your teams understand their priorities and that these align across the organisation.
- Shielding team from distractions and ensuring priority work is being worked on.
- Identify blockers/risks and help the team to overcome them.
- Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team.
- Enable teams to adopt Agile principles and continually improve Agile delivery practices.
- Facilitation of all agile ceremonies i.e. daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Managing expectations and seeking decisions from senior stakeholders on changing requirements.
- Instigate projects and prioritise your own workload.
- Deputise for the Head of Delivery in any areas required.

**Experience and skills**
- Proven experience within an Agile Delivery discipline or Project Manager
- Experience in an agile/scrum driven environment for at least 3 years.
- Assist with product backlog maintenance and grooming.
- Track team velocity, health and sprint/release progress.
- Prepare and deliver end of engagement reports.
- Analyse technical documents, briefs, user guides, and other deliverables.
- Experience in managing third party developers at agencies.
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creating and contributing to a fun, healthy, honest, and happy team dynamic.
- Pursue and embrace development opportunities for yourself.
- Be willing to accept new challenges to stretch your abilities.
- You have hands-on experience with agile project management programs like JIRA.
- Set up and drive internal and external project meetings.
