My client has a number of depos across the UK offering service and maintenance work in over 50 locations across the UK. They are looking a mobile engineer to increase their presence in the Southampton area. With over 30 years’ experience within the taillift industry my client are still growing and thriving to maintain their stay as a reputable force within the industry.

This role is for a driven engineer, with hydraulic and mechanical knowledge, who is able to work under mínimal supervision providing a first class service to customers.

**Mobile Engineer**

**Location: Southampton**

**£27,000 - £30,000 - Fully equipped van, mobile, tablet, Life Insurance, Simply Health Cover, Pension and paid over time and call out.**

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Repair or maintain specific equipment such as Tail lifts, winches and roller shutters.
- Attend customers sites and assessing the breakdown before carrying out repairs or producing quotes for repairs depending on level of customer.
- Document all information fully ensuring accuracy when recording job details.
- Keep your van presentable and tidy at all times.
- Ensure all work is complete in a safe manner to mirror the company’s HSE procedures.
- Recommend major work when equipment is unsafe for the customer to use.
- Undertake various other duties when required.
- Mechanical fitting awareness.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Good hydraulic understanding.
- Possess good technical knowledge.
- LOLER qualified is a MUST.
- Full UK driving license.
- Good awareness and understanding of HSE.
- Good customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- Be tenacious with a can - do attitude.

**You must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekend and call outs at night. Over time and call out is paid.
