I am recruiting on behalf of an Essex based builders' merchant for a Commercial Manager to lead the sales and operations for 2 branches.

This is a key role within the organisation and is part of the senior management team. The Commercial Manager will have a pivotal role in developing both branches, delivering excellence for customers and creating a highly effective working environment forcolleagues.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the two branches to achieve financial targets and maximise profitability
- Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to build profitable business growth.
- Work with sales colleagues to build branch sales by maximising opportunities with existing customers and developing strategy to attract new opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team to support sales and build the reputation and brand awareness of the company
- Lead and manage the branch management teams to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently

Previous branch management and man-management experience is essential. Energy, drive and commercial acumen is also a must.
