Care Assistant and Senior Care Assistant Nights
On behalf of our client, we have a new opportunity for motivated Healthcare Assistant and Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their Nights team based in the pretty village of Silver End, Essex.

My client is well established and their services are managed to a high standard, scoring Good CQC marks and they are looking for new staff members with the confidence and ability to make a difference to the residents in their care.

- Salary - Care Assistant Nights £10.00ph and Senior Care Assistant Nights £11.10ph.
- Hours - Monday to Sunday.
- Area - Silver End, Essex.

**Duties and Responsibilities for HCA include but not limited to:**
- To assist in the delivery of care and to work as part of a team - achieving required standards
- To ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality and to be involved in the general activities of the home, encouraging the residents to participate in social and recreational activities.
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting residents, when required with personal care and all other aspects of daily living such as washing and dressing.
- Light housekeeping duties such as making up beds, laundry, tidying residents’ bedrooms and emptying commodes etc.
- Help care for residents who are at end of life.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of residents
- Assist residents who may need help during mealtimes helping with serving of food/drinks as requested/required including washing up.
- Observe, monitor and record residents physical and emotional wellbeing and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
- Keep up to date with resident’s care plans, risk assessments and daily notes.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure the good reputation of the Home and the client.
- Under supervision, assist with medications.
- Keep up to date with resident’s care plans, risk assessments and daily notes.

**Duties and Responsibilities for Senior HCA include but not limited to**:

- Keeping accurate care and medical records of residents
- Instilling a positive work environment
- Supporting your care team and holding their appraisals, assist with training of new staff members
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and relatives to achieve the best care for each resident
- Maintain a safe working and living environment for residents and staff, as well as visitors and healthcare workers, adhering to all safety requirements.
