Job Purpose
To safely complete the heavy industrial cleaning activities to an acceptable standard.
Accountabilities
- To understand the complexities of the site and specific areas of work.
- To be available to cover maintenances, which includes occasional night shifts or fluctuating the contracted 40 hr per week to work less or more that 8 hrs in a day to ensure all maintenance commitments are met. As much notice as possible will be provided.
- Ensuring all tasks under your responsibility are completed and communicated to the supervisors as such, to allow for accurate and timely SAP feedback.
- Comply with COSHH assessments and all safety documentation of the specific task.
- Tasks completed are more focussed around heavily industrial areas.
- Cleaning standards are to be consistently high, quality audits regularly completed.
- Pro-active approach to any H&S concerns, by remaining safe resolving and reporting any issues.
- Cleaning methods used but are not limited to; jetting, wiping, scraping, mopping, and brushing.
- Using items of equipment to clean, scarifying and scrubbing machines & high-pressure jetting units.
- To have a customer focused approach to the role, where the principal aim is to provide a quality service to the client, providing solutions rather than problems.
- To present yourself in a professional and helpful manner, in terms of both image and attitude.
- To work well under pressure and cohesively as part of a team.
- Must be proactive with good attention to detail and a team worker.
- To remain compliant with all training required to complete this job. All training will be provided.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Ensure areas are cleaned in line with SAP guidelines.
- Ensure cleaning is carried out adhering to safety documentation.
- Promote a safe environment by acting appropriately on any safety concerns to you or others.
- Remain current in all training required as part of this job.
- Work as part of a cohesive team to provide a good standard of service to MSS and their client
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Experience in industrial cleaning.
- CCNSG qualification

Desirable
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.
- Good follower of instructions.
- Team worker.
- Customer focused.
