In order to facilitate our planned growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Cleaning Area Supervisor to join our team and assist our Operations department with cleaning contracts in Bucks, Berks and Oxon - an area approx. 20 miles around our head office in High Wycombe - for example, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Princes Risborough, Thame & Aylesbury. Ideally, you will have some supervisory or management experience but those with experience of the cleaning industry who are enthusiastic, want to learn and are keen to progress their careers are welcome to apply.

You would be required to make regular visits to your customers sites, which will involve mornings and evenings so flexibility with working hours is vital - you must be willing and able to travel between sites and be available to assist your colleagues if required. Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise and work under your own initiative is a must

The role requires excellent relationship and decision making skills, the ability to remedy shortfalls, complete audits, attend client meetings, develop and mentor cleaning Supervisors and operatives within your portfolio. You will also need to ensure your sites operate within given budgets and keep all clients fully up to date on all operational and performance areas of contracts.

Knowledge of overseeing the cleaning in schools an advantage.

This is a permanent full time position with flexible hours Monday - Friday to suit the contracts under your remit. So for example one day you could be working 8am - 4.30pm, the next 11.30am - 8pm. (40 hour working week, half hour unpaid lunchbreak). Schedules are planned in advance and our sites are operational between 8am - 8pm, this is when you are needed - so willingness with flexibility around your working week is vital

**A company van, mobile phone and laptop** **will be provided.**

**The role**: Working across all of our clients sites within the Thames Valley - a mix of prestigious offices, schools and some retail establishments, you will:

- Be presentable, approachable and have a friendly personality
- Have a knowledge of the cleaning industry with good time management skills
- Be willing to roll up your sleeves and jump in - cleaning at our sites when required to cover holiday and sickness. Have a hands on approach and lead by example in front of our bank team of mobile cleaners.
- Train new starters / complete new starter inductions
- Ensure cleaning standards are adhered to and H&S requirements are met
- Report any site issues
- Ensure correct uniform / PPE is worn
- Deliver stock orders
- Act as a mentor to our cleaning team and develop their potential at sites
- Identify and action training needs
- Complete site audits and reports
- Be there as a point of contact for operational issues
- Ensure operations runs smoothly and are efficient as possible, and that an exemplary cleaning service is delivered to our customers week in, week out

It is imperative that you are comfortable with a varied job 'on the road', travelling around and visiting our clients sites, and have competent relationship and decision making skills. Your time will be interspersed at our head office in Hazlemere, High Wycombe to allow for administration and other operational duties.
