We are recruiting for an Account Manager on behalf of our client who are one of the global leaders in the Audiology sector. As Account Manager, you will be working across the South East territory, providing an overall account management service to PublicSector Account customers. You will be responsible for increasing sales, provide training, technical support, product advice and management of customer accounts to generate sales income in the Public Sector customer base. Ideally, you will have experience workingin a healthcare/public sector sales role and will have demonstrable skills in Interpersonal communication, negotiation, business acumen, self-management and sales strategy.

**Role**:
The primary purpose of this role is to increase sales, provide training, technical support, product advice and management of customer accounts to generate sales income in the Public Sector accounts customer base within a predefined geographical area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide an overall account management service to Public Sector Account customers and achieve agreed personal targets in line with company targets and Key Performance Indicators and maximise sales opportunities with all customers and pro-actively developnew business opportunities with existing accounts.
- Pro-actively target prospective new accounts by building closer relationships between the Company, its existing customers, and prospective Public Sector customers.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and to develop and work by detailed account management plans for all key accounts by planning, visiting and meeting buying customers on a regular basis as well as identify and plan to visit all non-buying customers.
- Identify potential sales opportunities with Public Sector accounts in the areas of hearing instruments, batteries, accessories, and audiological equipment and accessories and ensure that such opportunities are maximised, feeding this knowledge into theCRM system.
- Understand and act on market changes as they occur and keep up to date with product knowledge including audiological detail and ensure that Public Sector customers are aware of products available to them.
- Maintain and increase sales knowledge using appropriate sales tools.
- Ensure that all visits are planned and reported on using the CRM system, proactively using and managing the database for accuracy.
- Organise and attend, as agreed with the Company and Public Sector customers, seminars as required on a geographical area basis and ensure all customers training requirements are met effectively to increase awareness of products and services available tothe Public Health.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations and always project the Company as a market leader and professional organisation.
- Report weekly to the Sales Manager
- Public Sector regarding sales activities and submit monthly reports, on a formal basis, on sales activities, both on an individual customer and a geographical area basis, following set processes.
- Identify, enlarge on and report customer and competitor information within the Public Sector in order to improve the Company's market intelligence.
- Provide a referral point for the resolution of difficult issues with customer accounts, making decisions where necessary, in line with agreed company policy.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, the Customer Services team and the Signia Product Marketing Manager to present a continuous quality service to customers at all times.
- Accept and work within the Company's Quality System and Health and Safety Policy, seeking to enhance systems and procedures where possible.

**Required skills**
- Sales qualification, or working towards one
- Ability to understand and explain technical product information
- Audiology Qualification preferred
- Higher level educational qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare, public sector sales role or similar
- Demonstrable skills in Interpersonal Communication, Negotiation, Business Acumen, Self Management and Sales Strategy
