**Job Description: Foodservice Supervisor**

**Location**: Cardiff Bestway Branch
**Salary**: £30,000 per annum

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Care**: Ensure all customers, particularly those from diverse cultural backgrounds, are greeted warmly, served promptly, and their needs are fully understood and addressed.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage and motivate a team of around 10 individuals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- **Hands-On Leadership**: Actively work alongside the team, demonstrating a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
- **Responsibility for Customers**: Take full ownership of the takeaway customer base, including a significant number of Chinese, Indian, and other ethnic foodservice operators, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular updates to the Branch Manager and Area Manager on team performance, customer feedback, and operational progress.

**Requirements**:

- **People Skills**: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build strong relationships with customers and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- **Leadership Experience**: Proven experience in managing and inspiring teams within a fast-paced environment.
- **Hands-On Attitude**: A willingness to engage actively in operational tasks alongside the team.
- **Cultural Awareness**: An understanding and appreciation of the needs and preferences of customers operating Chinese takeaways, Indian food outlets, and fast food businesses.
- **Responsibility**: A proactive and accountable approach to managing operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
