People Operations Manager

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a People Operations Manager to join an organisations in South Yorkshire. This permanent role is a fantastic opportunity to add value to the organisation.
**Key Responsibilities of the People Operations Manager**:
- Lead the People Operations team to provide an efficient, effective and proactive people administration service to the HR and OD team and the business as a whole.
- Ensure that robust and efficient processes are in place, documented and continually reviewed to manage the full employee lifecycle including, recruitment, learning and development, attendance and employee exits.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with the shared service provider playing a lead role in the management of the relationship including attendance at client meetings, provision of feedback against SLA and development of the service and system.
- Establish yourself as the HR system expert ensuring that the system capability available to SLHD is thoroughly understood and fully utilised, ensure that user guides are available, communicated and updated through the shared service as needed, deliveringguidance to managers and employees as required.
- Take ownership of the supplier contracts in place across the HR function including agency worker provision, rewards and benefits and employee wellbeing liaising with procurement and HRBPs to ensure that the offering is value for money, effective and meetingbusiness need.
- Take the lead on data collection, manipulation and analysis, gathering and presenting useful data and analytics to the wider people team to enable effective and future focused planning and decision making, working closely with the SLHD performance team.
- Develop a detailed knowledge of the job evaluation system providing advice and guidance on its implementation. This will include delivering training to line managers and other users as required.
- Take ownership of the HR&OD intranet pages, ensuring that content is up to date, relevant and user friendly.
- Lead and own the development of HR policy and procedure in particular those linked to the employee lifecycle and transactional HR elements such as mileage and expenses, pay policy and procedure, pensions discretion (examples only).
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the People Strategy and take the lead as required on relevant projects.
- Take a proactive role in own continuous professional development by keeping up to date with employment legislation, case law and human resources best practice.
**The successful People Operations Manager will**:
- Have a minimum Level 5 CIPD Qualification
- Have previous line management responsibility
- Significant experience working in a HR Team with people systems and processes
