Production Planner

**Production Planner - Corintech**

Location: Fordingbridge

**Salary**: Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Corintech is seeking a dedicated Production Planner to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the planning and scheduling of our manufacturing processes.

**About the Role**:
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of production by meticulously planning and scheduling manufacturing work orders using our 123MRP system. Your role will involve monitoring component delivery, managing documentation and tooling availability, and estimating labour costs for quotations. You’ll collaborate closely with various departments to optimise production schedules and improve efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule manufacturing work orders on the MRP system.
- Monitor KPIs such as Production Yield and Works Order OTIF, ensuring progress against targets.
- Maintain data integrity within the 123MRP system, addressing anomalies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with sales teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Manage and monitor production schedules, ensuring team leaders are updated on work progress.
- Identify and address potential delays in production schedules, reporting issues to the Production Manager.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Conduct regular production reviews, reporting on key performance indicators and suggesting improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
- Coordinate with engineering and other departments to address technical issues impacting production.

**About You**:

- Proven experience in production planning or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with MRP systems (experience with 123MRP is a plus).
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

**What We Offer**:
**Salary**: Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Holiday Entitlement**: Starting at 22 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 28 days with service.
