Landscape Laborer

**Job Summary**
Wykeham Mature Plants grow and supply and plant mature trees, instant hedging and screening and specimen shrubs.

As part of our continued expansion we are looking to add two landscape labourers to our team.

The scope of work includes the planting of our unloading and planting of our specimen plants in private gardens mostly in the Yorkshire area.

Hours of work 8 to 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 8 to 3.30 Friday with one half hour lunch break and two fifteen minute tea breaks Monday to Thursday. Please note due to the nature of the job there is quite a lot of travelling requiring overtime starts at 7AM and frequent late finishes which are again paid on overtime with the occasional need to stop over on further afield planting projects.

Training will be given in the operation of forklifts and diggers as required and all PPE will be supplied.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in landscape planting is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to dig and plant with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for working outdoors.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Pay: £11.44-£16.83 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
