This is an enormously rewarding job - LOADS of fun but can be hard work too. No two days are the same, and there can be challenges to be met and overcome, but it can also be fun and, more importantly, you will be making a real and positive difference tosomeone’s life each and every day.

As a Support Worker you will provide support and care to individuals with a learning disability, mental health needs and/or a physical disability. You will support residents to live the lives that they want and to be part of the local community.

You will be an important and valued part of the team, providing excellent standards of support and care, working on a 1-to-1 basis with residents, helping them with all aspects of independent living and assisting with personal care.

Typical duties might include: -- Assisting clients with getting washed and dressed, preparing meals, prompting and assistance with taking medication
- Light household tasks
- Offering companionship and helping build clients confidence and independence

Applicants MUST have flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, alternate weekends, some bank holidays and sleep-ins.

Applicants MUST be a driver with own vehicle.
