**Job Opportunity - Deputy HR Manager**
I’m currently working on a position with one of our highly-regarded education organisations, based in Cambridgeshire, to source a Deputy HR Manager for the following position:

Contract:Permanent
Rate: £26,750 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
**Your duties will include**:
- Supporting the HR Team colleagues with any queries that require escalation
- Deputising as lead HR person for the central HR team, when the HR Manager is out of the office
- Assisting the HR Manager in the preparation of monthly and termly reports for the Academies and the Trust
- Ensuring various HR systems are kept up to date with regard to all HR Administration for the academies
- Completing related administration for any Disciplinary Procedures within academies, ensuring that all parties are provided with relevant documentation in a timely manner
- Completing related administration for any Capability Procedures within academies, ensuring that all parties are provided with relevant documentation in a timely manner
- Ensuring effective administration and management of Sickness Absence in conjunction with the academies, including accurate and timely recording of absences, identifying colleagues that have hit absence triggers, and supporting the academy with all administrationrelated to the sickness absence management process
- Updating the Single Central Register for your own academies and ensure the information is accurate and up to date and complies with current statutory guidance
- Administrating all variations to contracts for the duration on employment of colleagues
- Handling the end-to-end recruitment process for new starters
- Support the administration process for all leavers
- Accurately maintaining the Trust’s and Academy’s manual and computerised personnel data in a secure and confidential manner in line with GDPR guidance
- Supporting the HR Manager in ensuring that all duties across the Central HR team are carried out in accordance with good practice
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Proven HR administrative and case work, preferably in a school environment
- Basic knowledge of employment law
- Working knowledge of general school policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of education support staff and teachers pay and conditions an advantage
- Strong ICT skills including Word and Excel
