**What will you be doing as a People Advisor?**
- Responsible for providing advice and generalist HR support across all site functions
- Own the delivery of key people processes such as absence, maternity/paternity, probation reviews etc
- Support the People Manager in the planning and implementation of organizational and system changes and acting as a point of contact for the wider team through these changes
- Weekly and monthly reports for the wider people team as and when required
- Be proactive in recognizing opportunities to improve ways of working for a more streamlined process
- Assist in training and developing the management team in people related matters, ensuring processes are followed and legislation is met
- Supporting the Resourcing Advisor in recruitment tracking, interview support and offer administration
- Develop relationships with site stakeholders at all levels and with the central team establishing yourself as a credible and valued advisor by responding to queries quickly and effectively
- Influencing best practice across the site
- Support the health and wellbeing committee and social activities
- Assist management with Occupational Health Referrals and case management
- Operate as HR lead in the performance management of individuals and other employee relations situations (e.g. performance improvement plans, capability problems, disciplinary scenarios, grievances)

**Relevant skills and experience as a People Advisor**:

- Proven HR Generalist experience is **essential**:

- Experience of supporting managers with ER issues
- CIPD Qualified would be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Tenacious and a strong communicator at all levels
- Excellent IT and administrative skills
- Previous experience using Oracle Cloud would be advantageous
