Job Title: Kniphand / Steel Fixer

Location: Solihull Moors, HS2 Project

Duration: 2 Years. CIS Payments.

Start Date: TBC

OVERTIME AVAILABLE MIDWEEK. 11 HOUR DAYS AVAILABLE. FIRST 10 FLAT RATE TIME AND A HALF AFTER. 55 hours worked 57.5 paid. Occasional Saturdays worked although these are not guaranteed.

**Requirements**:

- Blue CSCS card for Steel Fixers
- Green CSCS Card and minimum 6 months steel fixing experience for Kniphands
- Valid fit-to-work medical certification would be advantageous but not essential.

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform steel fixing according to project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately position and secure steel components.
- Cut, bend, and shape steel bars as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the construction team to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 months experience steel fixing for kniphands. Blue CSCS Needed for Steel fixers.
- Possess a valid fit-to-work medical certification would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of steel fixing techniques, equipment, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings for Steel Fixers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Rate and Hours.

Rate is £16 - £22 for first 10 hours depending on experience.. Up to 2+ years work on the biggest construction site in the UK. 11 Hours on site - 11.5 paid. Saturdays paid 1.5x if worked.

**Salary**: £16.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 57.5 per week
